ONI Bureau: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will probe the financial transaction of all ‘Good News India’ shelter homes including Beltikri Shelter Home in Dhenkanal district.
ED will investigate the financial irregularities and source of foreign funding of all the 22 shelter homes of Good News India, that illegally running at different places in Odisha.
The matter came into light after girl inmates of Beltikiri shelter home brought sexaul harassment allegation against the in-charge and managing director of the centre.
It is to be noted that the NGO receives overseas fund to the tune of Rs 15 crore to Rs 16 crore every year in the name of shelter homes.
In this regard, ED has sought detail report of the FIR copy and charge sheet lodged against the NGO in Dhenkanal Sadar Police.
