ONI Bureau: The Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday arrested Ghumusar DFO (Divisional Forest Officer) Bijoy Ketan Acharya for amassing disproportionate assets to the tune of over Rs 3.22 crore in Ganjam district.
The Vigilance officials conducted searches in five places including his government quarter and office at Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district, his two triple storied building at Patia and Saheed Nagar in Bhubaneswar and his ancestral house at Andarpur in Cuttack.
Vigilance officials also opened his two bank lockers from which they got one gold biscuit.
As per Vigilance sources, his disproportionate assets to the known sources of income came to the tune of Rs 3,22,80,130.
