Jharpada to create replica of Albert Hall Museum of Rajasthan for Durga Puja

ONI Bureau:  Durga Puja at Jharpada is one of the major attractions for pandal-hoppers in the city every year. This year, Jharapada Durga Puja Samiti, is creating a replica of Albert Hall Museum, the State museum of Rajasthan, to woo devotees.

This year, the idol of Goddess Durga will be 12 feet tall while the medha will be around 20 feet. Cuttack-based artists and Kolkata-based professionals are involved in the process of constructing the pandal.

Some 20 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras will be installed to keep an eye on anti-social elements.
