ONI Bureau: The National Scheduled Caste Commission Member Yogendra Paswan, who visited Kunduli to probe the alleged gangrape and subsequent suicide by the minor victim, has come down heavily on Odisha Government.
“The state government has been under the scanner for its dubious role. It failed to provide protection and justice to the victim girl,” he said.
“The police and medical authorities also failed to discharge their duty properly. The police failed to take action on time, while medical reports concealed the facts,” he alleged.
The SC Commission further said that CBI probe is the only option in this case, as state government agencies are suspected of sabotaging the case.
