ONI Bureau: The Ratha Jatra rituals were completed this morning with Lord Jagannath’s Nandighosh chariot reaching the Mausima Temple in Puri to join those of his siblings – Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.
While the chariots ‘Taladhwaja’ and ‘Darpadalana’ reached the Gundicha Temple yesterday, ‘Nandighosh’ stoped midway at the Balagandi Chhak. The enthusiastic devotees braved heavy rains and inclement weather today to pull the chariot and help it reach its destination.
The deities will make the Gundicha Temple their temporary abode till the Bahuda Jatra on July 22, 2018.
