ONI Bureau: In a shameful incident, a 15-year-old girl was raped and impregnated by her father at Dagarpada locality under Lalbag police limits in Cuttack district.
Following which the Twin City Commissionerate Police arrested the 38-year-old accused Suryamani Behera on Tuesday.
Suryamani was living with his daughter in a rented house for the last one year after being separated from his wife.
The minor girl was reportedly locked in the house for around a month.
While the victim was rescued by Child line officials, her mother lodged a complaint with Mahila police in this regard.
