Maoist Threat compels family to flee village

Following Maoist threat, a family of 13 members fled from Dabuguda village of Malkangiri district.

According to sources, on September 28 the Red rebels of Dabuguda Maoist cadre forcibly entered the homes of the victims, threatened them and ransacked the spot before fleeing.

Fearing threat to their lives, the family members left their native place.

Although the exact reason behind the threat isn’t clear it is assumed that the Maoists suspected the family members of being police informers.
