Mercury crosses 38 Degrees C in Odisha; to reach 40 by March 2

ONI Bureau:  Mercury continues to rise across Odisha with maximum temperature recorded above 38 degree Celsius in four cities of the state on Sunday.

While, Balasore recoreded highest temperature with 38.8 Degree Celsius, Bhubaneswar recorded the 2nd highest temperature with 38.2 Degree Celsius; Angul with 38.1 and Sonepur recoreded 38.0, the mercury crossing the 36°C mark at twelve towns in the state.

The Regional Meteorological Department has forecast  that temperature will cross 40 degrees Celsius by March 2 and heat wave conditions with humidity will continue to prevail till the weekend.
