Minor fire breaks out at Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik’s Chamber

A minor fire broke out in the chamber of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik due to electrical short-circuiting. No one reported injured or no document in the chamber was damaged. Only a television set and set-top box were damaged.

Director General of Police K B Singh said an electrical short circuiting from the digital clock on a set-top box of a television set in the office started the fire. The fire broke out at around 12:20 pm but it was doused within 20 minutes.

BJD Bari MLA Debasis Nayak  said to media person that the Chief Minister was not in office at the time of the incident. He will reach here late today.
