ONI Bureau: The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar predicted more rains during next 24 hours following formation of a low pressure over the northwest Bay of Bengal and north coast Odisha with an associated cyclonic circulation.
Due to the low pressure, heavy to very heavy rainfall will occur in 15 districts of Odisha including Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Bargarh, Bolangir, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Cuttack districts, the met office informed.
In view of extreme weather conditions, fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off Odisha coast and north-west Bay of Bengal.
