Odisha MP Sasmit Patra presided over the proceedings of Rajya Sabha on Saturday. The Biju Janata Dal MP is the first Odia in 20 years to preside in Rajya Sabha.
The MP conducted the proceedings during the discussion on Epidemic Diseases (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 Bill.
