Nabakalebara Rath Yatra: All 3 Chariots reach Gundicha Temple

All three chariots have finally reached the Gundicha Temple (Mausima Mandir) this morning, bringing huge relief to the administration. Lakhs of devotes have thronged Puri to get a glimpse of the deities in new avatar in the Nabakalebara year.

While Lord Balabhadra’s Taladhwaja had reached the Gundicha Temple yesterday evening, Devi Subhadra’s Darpadalan and Lord Jagannath’s Nandighosh halted at Badasankha and Balagandi respectively.

In the morning today, both the chariots were pulled by the devotees and reached their destination. The deities will stay at Gundicha Temple till July 26 before making the return journey or ‘Bahuda Yatra’.
