ONI Bureau: Former King of Nepal, Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev has arrived in Bhubaneswar on a six-day Odiisha visit. He received a rousing reception on arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar.
The King will inaugurate the Shree Marg’s ‘Mission Wow Cow Goshala’ at Rathipur near Jatni this afternnon.
He will pay obeisance at the Lord Lingaraj Temple tomorrow and attend a programme commemorating the silver jubilee of ‘Pattabhisheka’ of Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswat on February 9.
Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev will visit Puri Jagannath Temple on February 11. He has the special privilege of performing Aarati at Lord Jagannath atop the Ratna Singhasan. The King will be allowed to touch the idols of the deities as per the traditions.
