NSUI Leaders arrested while trying to teach Odia to Naveen Patnaik

At least five NSUI leaders, including President of Odisha Unit, Itish Pradhan, have been arrested while trying to enter the Naveen Niwas in order to teach Odia language to CM Naveen Patnaik.

The student leaders of the Congress party carried elementary text books of Odia. They held a similar attempt yesterday too.

While the NSUI has vowed to continue their protest, saying it’s a shame for Odisha that its Chief Minister has not learnt the language of the state despite being the CM for the last 16 years, the student wing of he BJD has condemned the action.
