Nurses call off Strike after Assurance from MLAs

Odisha Nursing Employees Association withdrew the agitation after the Cuttack Barabati MLA Debashis Samantray and Cuttack-Choudwar MLA Prabhat Biswal assured to inform the State Government about their demands.

Notably, Nurses of all Government Medical Colleges and Hospitals, 30 District Headquarters Hospitals have resorted to cease-work today morning demanding regularisation of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) nurses who have already completed six years in job, hike of basic salary and grade pay.
