Friday brought along joy for Upasana Mohapatra with the declaration of results of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted civil services examination.
Upasana holding rank 119 is nine among the others from Odisha who cleared the examinations.
Upasana passed Class X with 96 per cent from Loyola School, Bhubaneswar and excelled to second position in her school in the ICSE exam. She completed her +2 from DAV School, Unit 8 and on completion joined Miranda House, University of Delhi, where she graduated in Physics and became one of the toppers of her college scoring 91.3 per cent.
The others from Odisha are Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra (118th), Jubin Mohapatra (235th), Nabal Kumar Jain (350th), Sourav Mishra (357th), Prashant Mishra (367th), Somalin Subhadarsini (478th), Sudhanshu Nayak (500th) and Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak (759th).
