ONI Bureau: A day after the Odisha Government sought clarification from Raj Bhavan towards Governor’s air travel expenses which ran over Rs 46 lakh, state Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi today expressed “deep regret” over the manner in which one of its departments had sent a letter seeking clarification on Governor Ganeshi Lal’s aircraft and chopper bills.
The Governor’s visit to Sirsa in Haryana from Bhubaneswar by a chartered flight was approved by the State Government and it was a “miscommunication” on the part of the general administration department. Strong action would be taken against all responsible for this miscommunication, a release by the chief secretary’s office said today.
