Odisha CM dedicates 80 Pucca Houses to the Slum Dwellers

Odisha Chief  Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday dedicated 80 pucca houses to the slum dwellers constructed under the ‘Rajiv Awas Yojana’ at a cost of Rs 10 crore.

As it is part of the rehabilitation program these pucca houses are being given to the slum dwellers who were evicted from the Mahisakhala slum in BJB Nagar area of Bhubaneswar.

These pucca houses consisting of 40 houses and each house are constructed into two blocks.

Odisha government is planning to provide more than 700 houses to beneficiaries across 17 blocks with the total cost of Rs. 47 crore.
