Over 3,000 participants including students and youths took part in the event to commemorate the contribution of the architect of Modern Odisha.
Similarly, another mini-marathon was organized at the ancestral house of Patnaik in the Millennium city Cuttack. Athagarh MLA and BJD legislator Ranendra Pratap Swain inaugurated the event.
A statue of Biju Babu also garlanded at the State Assembly premises. Many programmes were held throughout the year to mark the birth centenary of the legendary leader.
The State level Panchayati Raj Divas is also being celebrated today. Chief Minister will inaugurate the programme.
