Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the first integrated water supply project of the state at Ganjam district on 3rd March. The project cost a sum total of 431 crores and will serve more than 5 lakh people in rural and urban sectors of Ganjam district.
The water supply project will cater to 53 other villages in 16-gram panchayats inbetween Berhampur & Janibili.
Tentatively, the project would provide 300 lakh litres of water on an everyday basis via a pipeline network of 232 kilometres.
