Odisha CM writes to Mahesh Sharma over water-logging issue at Konark Temple

ONI Bureau: Expressing deep concern over water logging at the Sun Temple Konark, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday requested Union Culture Minister Dr. Mahesh Sharma to take up necessary measures to solve the issue.

In a letter to the Union Culture Minister, Odisha CM said that flooding problem in Konark Temple poses threat to the World Heritage Monument and that need to preserve.

As per sources, Pipili-Nimapara road cut off from the mainland with knee-deep water flowing in the villages. By pass road constructed in Garpada over Dhanua river cut to make way for discharging water.
