Odisha government has conducted 4,209 tests in the last two days- April 23rd and 22nd. On April 22nd, the govt conducted 2,182 tests by creating a record of most tests.
So far, 15,984 tests through RT-PCR and 4,975 rapid antibody tests have been carried out in Odisha and 90 confirmed cases detected. No rapid tests were carried out in the past two days following the course of ICMR over discrepancies in test results due to faulty kits.
Odisha Government has also resolved to hold discussions with the Centre and other States to make settlements for tests of Odia workers and people where they are stranded. The subject will be taken up with Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.
