Odisha Government hikes Bus Fare due to increase in Diesel Prices

The Odisha government on Monday increased the bus fare across all categories. The Commerce and Transport department has issued the notification regarding bus fare hike.

As per the notification, the fare for ordinary and express buses has been increased by 1 paisa per kilometer while Deluxe and AC Deluxe category buses has been increased by 2 paise per kilometre.

According to the new rates, ordinary buses will now charge 59 paise per km from 58 paise. The fare of express buses has increased to 62 paise from 61 paise. The Deluxe buses would charge 82 paise per km.
