The function will be attended by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Sports & Youth Services Minister Sudam Marndi. This year the government will confer awards – Biju Patnaik Sports Awards, Biju Patnaik Bravery Awards and Stat Award for Social Services in the function.
The Chief Minister and Sports Minister will address the function, while welcome address will be given by the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Sports & Youth Services Department. Vote of thanks would be proposed by Director, Sport & Youth Services.
