Odisha Govt to provide MDM during Summer Vacation in 27 Districts

The Odisha Government has decided to provide mid-day meal (MDM) at schools during summer vacation in drought-affected 27 districts. Milk and Paneer to be provided once in a week.

In total, the MDM scheme will continue at 36,000 schools of the state. Rs 81 crore has been allocated for this purpose.

The decision was taken at the Cabinet Steering Committee meeting. Also, drinking water in tankers to be supplied in both rural and urban areas.
