Odisha government today ordered all educational institutions to begin morning classes from April 2 as a precautionary measure against possible heat wave situation in the State. In a notice to all educational boards, the School and Mass Education (S&ME) department has directed the concerned authorities to reschedule timing of classes between 6.30 AM and 10.30 AM.
As per the information, the school authorities have been asked to serve midday meals at 10.00 AM and close the schools by 11.00 AM. Instruction has been issued to complete all assessment and examination by March 30th.
