The cops arrested Saila, her son, daughter and son-in-law from Soro area of Balasore. They were hiding there at a rented house in the guise of melody workers. The police team searched Saila everywhere, including Kolkata and other parts of Odisha. But, she managed to given them a slip for 10 days.
Saila Ranasingh has 10 cases against her. She used to hold ‘Kangaroo Courts’ in the slum and ruled there with an iron fist. She was even in touch with many influential BJD leaders, who allegedly patronised her activities.
The Lady Don will be forwarded to the court this evening. The police may seek her remand to expedite the investigation process.
