ONI Bureau: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Friday announced the schedule for the annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examination-2019.
Matric examination will be held from February 22 to March 8, 2019, informed Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Jahan Ara Begum.
Along with matric exams, the examination for State Open School certificate (SOSC), Madhyama Sanskrit and class 9 vocational examinations will be held simultaneously from February 22 next year.
While the SOSC exams will conclude on March 6, Madhyama examination will continue till March 2.
Likewise, HSC examinations will be held in the first sitting from 9 am to 11.30 am (from 9 am to 11.45 am for Mathematics) and the SOSC examinations will be held in the second sitting from 1.30 pm to 4 pm.
2019 matriculation examination will have 4 sets of question papers instead of 3 and all candidates need to secure minimum 15 marks each in subjective and objective format, informed Begum.
