ONI Bureau: A report in Odisha’s leading daily ‘Sambad’ quoting expelled BJD leader Dr. Damodar Rout’s close aides, has claimed that a new political party in Odisha would be announced on October 7.
According to the report, Dr. Damodar Rout revealed this before his supporters at a public meeting in Kujang yesterday. The announcement will reportedly made during a Samavesha (rally) in Baripada on Oct 7.
Other rallies will be held in Cuttack and Kujang, informed Dr. Rout who also held a rally in Mahanga area today and lashed out at Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Govt accusing it of encouraging corruption by shielding the corrupt.
According to sources close to Dama Rout, several other former BJD leaders such as Baijayant Panda, Surendra Nath Nayak and Prafulla Ghadei would be with him to overthrow the BJD Govt in Odisha.
