Odisha To Start Online lectures For Plus II Students Amid COVID-19 Lockdown

Odisha government has decided to shift to online teaching-learning method to facilitate sessions for Plus II second-year students amidst the nationwide lockdown to restrain the spread of coronavirus.

“It has been decided to conduct online classes for students, especially for Class-XII students who are now at their homes due to the lockdown,” informed Director of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, Brundaban Behera.

In a letter to the principals of all govt and non-government supported higher optional schools over the State, Behera has guided principals to submit idea astute course materials to be utilized for online classes of Class-XII understudies. The principals have been mentioned to talk about with resources of all streams-Arts, Science and Commerce and see whether quality advanced learning materials/recordings are accessible with them for various subjects of Class-XII as recommended by CHSE (Odisha) schedule.

“If such materials are there, they may send to us through our e-mail- dhse.odisha@amail.com as soon as possible by May 20 2020,” he said adding that those materials will be revised by an expert group and then sent to the students. “Hope, you will encourage your persons to come forward for this assignment. We solicit your cooperation in this regard in the larger interest of our children,” he added.
