Odisha entered into the two-week lockdown phase from Wednesday. The decision for lockdown in the state had been announced last week after a surge in COVID-19 cases.
City roads were mostly empty during the day owing to the lockdown. However, shops selling essentials will remain open from am to 12pm.
The lockdown will continue till May 19.
