One student killed, 24 injured due to wall collapse in Puri Dist

In a tragic incident, a girl student of Basukera Saraswati Sisu Bidya Mandir at Satyabadi area of Puri district was killed and 24 other students were injured after a wall adjacent to the school premises collapsed on Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred after closing of the school hour when the students have kept their bicycles close to the dilapidated wall.

The deceased has been identified as Minakshi Satpathy of class-VII.

The injured students are undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
