Orissa High Court orders to set up Fire Sub-station in SCB Medical Premises

Taking a serious note of the fire incident that broke out in the cardiology department of the SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack, the Orissa High Court ordered the State government for set up a fire sub-station inside the campus of SCB hospital campus in Cuttack.

The court also directed the Executive Engineer of General Electricity department to conduct an electric audit in SCB Medical College.

The Initiative step has been taken by the Orissa High Court, to avoid the fire accident and frequent problem of short circuit in SCB Medical College in future.

Notably, on May 31, fire outbreak in the Cardiology department on the second floor of the SCB Medical College where as the hospital staff s and patients safely escape from there.
