ONI Bureau: Around 80 quintals of paddy stocks worth lakhs of rupees were completely reduced to ashes at Jhandariguda village in Nabarangpur district today.
The paddy stock belonged to two brothers of the same village.
Several farmers and fire fighters tried desperately to douse the flame but failed as the intensity of the flames was extremely high.
The reason behind the fire mishap is yet to be ascertained.
