Though the comedian apologised for the statement on stage after some servitors, devotees protested against him, Jagannath Sena lodged an FIR at Puri Sea Beach Police Station demanding his arrest on Tuesday.
While performing on stage, Papu said that tulasi leaves over which street dogs pee everyday are used in the rituals of Lord Jagannath. He further said that those who utter ‘Jay Jagannath’ are sinners (papi).
