ONI Bureau: The Odisha Crime Branch on Thursday moved the Orissa High Court challenging the verdict of Bhubaneswar District & Sessions Judge Court, acquitting two accused in Bebina gang-rape and murder case in Pipili.
As per the report, the agency has appealed the High Court to adjudicate the case and punish the offenders.
Worth mentioning on December 24, 2018, the lower court acquitted prime accused Prashant Pradhan and his brother Sukant in the 2011 Pipili gang rape and murder case due to lack of evidence.
