Piyush Goyal and Naveen Patnaik had a discussion on ensuring uninterrupted power supply in Odisha. Odisha Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Das and other officials were present at the meeting.
Mr. Goyal has confirmed that coal production at Talcher will be increased from 75 million tonne to 300 million tonne. In addition, the Railway lines in Odisha will be upgraded to facilitate uninterrupted coal transportation.
