Ananya, along with her parents and two sisters were at the PM’s office to meet him. Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who was present at the occasion, commended Ananya as the ‘Pride of Odisha’.
Ananya (13) entered into Top 3 of Indian Idol Junior 2015 along with two other girls – Nithyashree Venkataramanan from Chennai and Nahid Afrin from Tezpur, Assam. But, thanks to massive public campaign in favour of Ananya, she won the title by a huge margin, leaving her competitors way behind.
