Renowned Columnist Bibhuti Patnaik gets Atibadi Jagannath Das Samman

Noted Odia Novelist and Columnist Bibhuti Patnaik on Wednesday awarded the prestigious Atibadi Jagannath Das Award – the highest literary award of the State.

The columnist was honoured by the Minister of State Tourism & Culture, Ashok Chandra Panda during a grand event at Rabindra Mandap.

Patnaik has more than 150 books to his credit. Some of his popular books include ‘Badhu Nirupama’, ‘Aswamedhara Ghoda’ and ‘Sesha Basanta’.

Bibhuti Patnaik also received several awards including, Odisha Sahitya Akademi award in 1985, Sarala Samman in 1999, Odisha living legend award, 2012 and Central Sahitya Akademi award in 2015.
