SLSWCA approves Rs 846 Cr Investment Proposals

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sri Gokul Chandra Pati in secretariat conference hall today has given in principle approval to 4 investment proposals with estimated investment of around Rs 846 cr.

These include the proposal of M/S Uttam Infralogix to set up a cross country pipe conveyer from Odisha to Chhatisgarh and a coal unloading & crushing facility at Baliamunda of Sundargarh district with a total investment of Rs 500 cr. out of which investment portion in Odisha is Rs260 cr. The project will provide employment to 30 persons.

Similarly, the proposal of M/S SMS India Ltd for its expansion of existing unit of the existing steel plant manufacturing unit in the district of Khordha with investment of Rs.168 cr envisaging employment for 119 persons have also got in principle nod of SLSWCA. The proposal of CONCOR for development of rail linked container terminal/ multi modal logistic park at Muniguda of Rayada district with investment of Rs.123 cr with employment potential of 36 persons ; and another proposal for development of similar project at Paradeep with investment of Rs.113 cr with employment potential of 36 persons have also been approved by SLSWCA.

The proposal of Purbi Bharat papers & Power Ltd to set up a logistic park with roof top solar plant of 1.5 MW capacity at village Indranipatana near Choudwar with investment of Rs.182 cr with employment potential of 850 persons have been accorded in principle approval. It has been clarified that all projects will be finally decided after examination of water and power linkage issues as per the existing regulations and provisions. Chief Secretary has advised PIPCOL to bring up tourism projects recommended by the task force. It has also been decided to develop some tourism projects through PPP mode.

​CMD IPICOL Sri Gagan Kumar Dhal presented the proposals with reports of task force for consideration in the meeting, wherein the Development Commissioner Sri U.N.Behera, Additional chief Secretary Revenue & Disaster management Dr Taradatt, Principal Secretary Energy Sri S.C. Mohapatra CMD IDCO Sri Vishal Dev, Secretary Law Sri Mihir Ranjan Parida, Secretary Works Sri N.K. Pradhan along with senior officers from respective departments participated in discussions. The General manager IPICOL Sri Kalyan Mohanty presented necessary data for deliberations.
