Social Activist Rutuparna Mohanty’s Husband passes away at 55

Insight Bureau:  Call it a rude joke of the destiny or a heart-broken coincidence! Just seven hours ago, he shared his beloved wife and social activist Rutuparna Mohanty’s Facebook memories to wish her Happy Birthday! But, hardly he knew that he would leave the entire family in grief just a few hours later.

Social Activist Guru Prasad died at the age of 55 following a heart attack on his wife’s birthday. An energetic and jovial person, he was admired by all. He was best known for his no-nonsense approach and ready-to-help attitude. He hardly disappointed anyone.

Guru Prasad is survived by his wife Rutuparna and two children. He was the younger brother of CYSD Chief Mr Jagadananda Mohanty.
