Sr. Journalist Kishore Dwibedi joins Bhasha Andolan along with Nandan

For the first time in the history of Bhasha Andolan, a school student joined the ‘silent black flag march’. Nandan Dwibedi, a Standard VII student of Delhi’s Mother’s International School was the centre of attraction on Day 40 of Bhasha Andolan.

Senior Journalist Kishore Dwibedi, Journalist Ranjan Acharya from Bengaluru and Lyricist Lalit Krishna Mohapatra were the other eminent personalities who joined the protest march today.

All protesters rejected the Government’s statement on implementation of Odia language at the official level and questioned its intention as well as dilly-dallying tactics.

After reaching Madhu Babu’s statue near the Governor’s House Square, they were greeted by several personalities, including Subhash Chandra Pattanayak, Pradyumna Satpathy, Pabitra Maharatha, Tusarkanta Satpathy, Madhumita Samal, Chakradhar Mahant, Ashwini Kumar Swain, Krushna Nayak, Brajesh Acharya, Baikuntha Nayak, Bijaya Pradhan, Sita Ballabh Mohapatra, Dr. Nityananda Patnaik, Chandrakanta Biswas, Subhash Sarangi, Himanshu Lenka, Subodh Dhal, Ajeya Jena, Aditya Rath, Rai Mohan Patnaik, Pabitra Samal, Naba Kishore Pradhan and Surendra Bhanja.
