Srilankan Education Officers team visits Odisha

A team of 30 delegates from Sri Lanka’s Education Department visited to Odisha, under the leadership of Professors of NUEPA, New Delhi from 22nd May to 24th may, 2016 under exposure visit programme to India.

During their stay in Odisha, they visited different Directorates of School and Mass Education Department, different Educational Institutions, office of the district Education Officers, RIE, Office of DPCs, SSA and the Centurial University of the state to study about the functioning, operational mechanism, administrative structure, class room management and methods adopted for enhancement of quality training & skill education initiatives in the state.

Sagarika Dangla, the representative of Srilankan Team expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and hospitality shown to them during their entire visit and also expressed that this exposure visit will be a learning session for the delegates for its implementation of the best practices here in Srilanka Education sector.

The good practices of both Srilanka & Odisha will be replicated in their respective arenas & further exchanges will be made between Lanka and Odisha to improve the education sector, said the School & Mass Education Minister, Sri Debiprasad Mishra.
