The State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) officials on Sunday morning collected water samples from the river and sent for examination to know the exact reason behind the unnatural death.
However, locals have claimed that the rapid growth of the oil industries and toxic water released from various industrial houses had caused water pollution and death of fishes & other sea species.
