ONI Bureau: Despite Odisha bandh, thousands of devotees have gathered from all over the State and outside at the Chandrabhaga beach near Konark in Odisha’s Puri district to take a holy dip and offer prayers to Sun God on the seventh day of the new moon of Magha.
The devotees take a holy dip with the age-old belief that it will cleanse them of skin diseases and wash away their sins.
