ONI Bureau: Devotees will now have to pay to get darshan of the Trinity at Puri Srimandir as the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Monday decided to introduce ticket system for darshan of the deities from Bhitar Katha at Puri Srimandir soon.
After managing committee meeting, SJTA chief administrator Pradipta Mohapatra said 60% of the tickets will be sold online while 35% of the tickets will be available at counters. Similarly, 5% of the tickets will be under the control of SJTA chief administrator.
Likewise, the gold received as donations from devotees will be kept in banks under Gold Scheme at an interest rate of 2.5 per cent, Mohapatra said.
