ONI Bureau: Royal Bengal tigress Sundari was finally tranquilised by a joint team of experts from Satkosia Tiger Reserve and Nandankanan zoological park, informed Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) chief Sandeep Tripathy on Tuesday.
A trained elephant Jasoda of Chandaka forest was used in the tranquillisation operation.
Earlier, a six-member team of experts from Odisha and team of experts from Madhya Pradesh had failed to capture Sundari.
