With cases surging in the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Uttarakhand, the Odisha Government has asked the district administration to track the returnees from the Mela.
The Collectors and Municipal Commissioners have been advised to contact the persons from Odisha who have participated in the religious festival and had registered with the Uttarakhand Government.
The details including their location and travel plan will be noted down. The returnees will also be advised to undergo RT-PCR test before returning to Odisha.
Upon their return, the Kumbh Mela returnees will have to undergo mandatory 14-days quarantine at home or temporary medical camps.
