Twin City Police Commissioner reviews security arrangements at Durga Puja Pandals

ONI Bureau:  The Police Commissioner of the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, Satyajit Mohanty on Wednesday reviewed security arrangements at different Durga puja pandals in Bhubaneswar to ensure hassle-free celebration of Durga Puja.

After reviewing different pandals, Mohanty said that security arrangements have been tightened near puja pandals close to the National Highway to make better traffic regulation.

Reportedly, 35 platoons of police forces along with 700 home guards and 400 constables have been deployed in Bhubaneswar to maintain law and order. Similarly, in Cuttack 40 platoons of police forces along with the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) were deployed for security arrangements.

Meatime, the Commissionerate Police urged devotees to use two-wheelers to reduce overcrowd.
