Two persons of a family were killed while two others seriously injured after a wall collapsed on them in Patnagarh of Bolangir district. Odisha Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Jena informed that the wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall in the area.
The incident occurred while the family members were sleeping inside the house. While two of them died after being admitted to the hospital, two others are currently undergoing treatment.
Odisha has been receiving heavy rainfall since August 13 due to a well-marked low pressure in the Bay of Bengal.
